⛸️ Outdoor Ice Rinks in Fargo-Moorhead
Free outdoor skating in all three cities - where the rinks are, when the warming houses are open, and when it's too cold for them.
Fargo
Staffed warming houses: Longfellow and Roosevelt (north side); Centennial, Clara Barton, and Kennedy (south side). Hours: Monday-Friday 4-8 p.m., Saturday-Sunday noon-8 p.m., with a modified holiday schedule Dec. 24 - Jan. 2.[1]
Outdoor rinks at Bennett, Broadway Square, Centennial, Clara Barton, Horace Mann, Jefferson, Kennedy, Lemke, Lewis & Clark, Lincoln, Longfellow, Madison, McKinley, Roosevelt, Washington, and Westgate parks.[1]
West Fargo
- Hockey rinks: Dakota Park (5600 9th St W), Maplewood Park (1504 17th Ave E), Rendezvous Park (1055 32nd Ave W), Tintes Park (131 6th Ave E)
- Pleasure rinks: Maplewood Park, Tintes Park
- Warming house hours: weekdays 4-8 p.m., weekends and holiday break noon-8 p.m., Dec. 24 and 31 noon-6 p.m.

All West Fargo rinks are free and public, and typically open in early December once the ground freezes.[2]
Moorhead
Rinks with warming houses and lights: Hansmann, Lamb, Morningside, Ridgewood, Riverview Estates, Village Green, and South parks. 2026-27 hours: Monday-Friday 4-8 p.m., Saturday-Sunday 1-8 p.m.; extended 1-8 p.m. Dec. 23-31, Jan. 18, and Feb. 15; closed Dec. 24, 25, and Jan. 1.
